Personal Data Deletion

Under Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR — “Right to erasure” or “Right to be forgotten”), Kanousé S.r.l. allows anyone to request deletion of their personal data processed by the company.

This page explains how to exercise this right.

3. How to request deletion

You can submit a deletion request through one of the following channels:

A) By email

Include the same information listed above. Certified email (PEC) is the recommended formal channel for requests requiring legal proof.

4. Response times

Kanousé undertakes to:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of the request within 3 working days
  2. Verify the identity of the requester (potentially by requesting an identity document)
  3. Delete the data within a maximum of 30 days of receiving a valid request, under Article 12(3) GDPR
  4. Confirm in writing to the data subject that deletion has taken place

In particularly complex cases, this period may be extended by a further 60 days, with notice to the data subject.

5. Deleting data from social channels (Instagram, Facebook)

Specifically for data received through Instagram and Facebook social channels managed using the Meta Platforms Inc. integration:

Exercising the right to erasure is free of charge. Kanousé does not require payment to process the request.

In exceptional cases involving manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, particularly repetitive ones, Kanousé may charge a reasonable fee or refuse the request, explaining its decision.
